Shipments and PickUP

  • ALL orders must be paid in full prior to shipment or pickup.
  • Shipments are sent Monday - Wednesday 
  • Uber pick-up available. 
    • Uber must be ordered by the client. 
    • If the clinic sends a package via Uber, the client is responsible for the delivery fee, and someone must be available to receive the package.
    • Please advise staff before ordering a pick up

What is Retatrutide?

Important Tips

  • Take retatrutide exactly as prescribed by your healthcare provider.
  • Inject once weekly at any time of the day, with or without food.
  • Inject subcutaneously (under the skin), usually in the thigh, abdomen, or upper arm.
  • Do not stop or change the dosage without consulting your healthcare provider.
  • If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember within 5 days. If more than 5 days have passed, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule.
  • Store the medication in the refrigerator. Do not freeze.

Serious Side Effects (seek medical help immediately)

  • Signs of allergic reactions such as rash or swelling all over body, or difficulty breathing
  • Pancreatitis symptoms: severe abdominal pain, persistent nausea, vomiting
  • Changes in vision
  • Signs of low blood sugar (dizziness, sweating, confusion), especially if on other diabetes medications

Precautions

  • Inform your healthcare provider if you have a history of pancreatitis or thyroid cancer.
  • Use with caution if you have kidney or liver problems.
  • Regularly monitor your blood sugar levels and attend follow-up appointments.

Using a Vial

Directions

Wash Your Hands

  • Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water to prevent infection. 

Check the Medication

  • Verify the medication label, expiration date, and appearance.

Prepare the Vial

  • Remove the vial from the refrigerator
  • Wipe the rubber stopper with an alcohol swab.

Draw Air into the Syringe

  •  Pull back the plunger to draw in air equal to your dose 

Insert the Needle into the Vial

  • Insert the needle through the rubber stopper.
  • Push the plunger to inject air into the vial.

Draw the Medication

  • Turn the vial upside down.
  • Keep the needle in the vial.
  • Carefully pull back the plunger to draw the prescribed amount of medication.
  • Remove air bubbles by tapping the syringe and pushing the plunger slightly to  expel excess air.

Remove the Syringe

  • Take the syringe out of the vial.
  • Wipe the injection site with an alcohol swab.

Choose Injection Site

  • Common sites include the abdomen, thigh, or upper arm.
  • Rotate sites with each injection.

Administer the Injection

  • Pinch the skin to lift a fold.
  • Insert the needle at a 90-degree angle (or 45 degrees if instructed).
  • Push the plunger slowly and steadily to inject the medication.

Remove the Needle

  • Withdraw the needle carefully.
  • If bleeding - Apply a cotton ball or gauze pressed gently on the site to stop bleeding.

Dispose of Sharps Safely

  • Dispose of the needle and syringe in a sharp’s container.
